I Finally Figured Out Why My Neighbour Was Putting Irish Spring Soap In His Yard

We always have a few bar soaps in the house, as we use them every day to sanitize ourselves. However, they could also be used in various other ways as well!

The Irish Spring Soap could also be used as a garden pest deterrent and a garden air-freshener at the same time! You certainly didn’t think that a bar of soap could be this useful, did you?

This soap has an intense smell and that deters any herbivores, such as deer, from eating your valuable produce and all other types of crawlies and insects!

The sensitive noses of the animals and insects cannot stand the smell, so they are going to stay away from your house.

You should cut the soap bar into chunks and stuff them into one pair of old socks. Then, dispense such soap-socks all over your garden so as to keep those uninvited visitors at bay.

For optimal deterrent effects, you could plant mini fences around your garden and scatter chunks of this soap.
